An Easy Guide to Kaleidoscope After School Class Programs

What is a Session?

Club Kaleidoscope offers three 8 week sessions (Sept. 10-Nov. 3, Jan. 14-March 9  and March 25-May 18) running around Bozeman school vacation schedules. Each session ends with a combined “showcase” where students present concepts or performances learned in each classroom setting.   Showcases for the 2018-2019 school year are scheduled for Saturdays, November 3, March 9, and May 18, with “dress rehearsals” occurring on the Fridays immediately preceding the Saturday showcases.

Class Cost & Information

*Each Class costs $135.00 for a 8-class session OR $360.00 for the full year

OR $120.00 for a 8-class session for Star Pass* holders. $340.00 for the full year

*Classes are one hour long and occur once a week.

*Although we prefer small class sizes, classes must have at least 6 students enrolled in a session to be offered.

*Regular attendance per session is required and expected for a student to get the most benefit out of our Kaleidoscope programs, as well as creating teamwork in each class.

*Two Classes are Required per year for all students participating in Kaleidoscope Players' productions, although we recommend that students continue to grow their acting skills by regular attendance in a class each session complimenting their rehearsal process or take advantage of workshop offerings.  Required classes for Players may be taken all in one session, or spread out during the year. Students in High School may request to use their classes, productions, or Speech activities to fulfill  Players' class requirements.

What do Workshops cost?

Workshops are priced per event.  Information about upcoming workshop offerings with guest teaching artists will be included in our weekly newsletters.

What are PIR Day Programs?

Kaleidoscope offers a few programs for select Bozeman PIR days. PIR Days run from 9-4 and are "mini-camps" generally focused around a theme for the day or days.  A day generally includes directed play and experiences with theater games, theater crafts, puppetry, costumes, song, dance, and sometimes even stage fighting or scripting depending on the theme.  Students need to bring their own lunches and snacks, but the rest of the fun is provided!

PIR days cost $35.00/half day; $60/full day; OR $50/full day for STAR PASS holders*.   PIR days must have at least 10 campers enrolled. Registration needs to be made at least a week in advance.
