Class Cost & Information

45 min class = $150 for 10 weeks

1hr class = $200 for 10 weeks

       *Our programs provide individual attention in small classes, classes will have no more than 12 students. Registration is first come first serve. 

       *Regular attendance per session is required and expected for a student to get the most benefit out of our Kaleidoscope programs, as well as creating teamwork in each class.

Kaleidoscope Youth Theater is committed to nurturing a love of the performance arts by providing an unsurpassed performance-based training, and industry-focused education to a diverse community of creative artists. We believe strongly in an eclectic curriculum to expose students to various performance art styles. Our programs provide individual attention in small classes, with a faculty composed of professional performance artists and teachers who excel at their craft. 

 

Kaleidoscope Youth Theater strives to create a supportive, and encouraging environment for students to develop the skills, confidence, imagination, and power to contribute to their community as artists, entrepreneurs, visionaries, lifelong learners, and conscientious citizens of the world.

 Broadway
Grades K - 2nd 

Come explore the exciting world of Broadway! Classes will focus on exploring the fundamentals of music, dancing, singing, and theater through engaged play and staging popular Broadway songs. The goal of this class is to build confidence, nurture a love for the art of musical theater and to have meaningful interactions with teachers and peers.

BROADWAY

Grades 6th-H.S.

 

Come learn classic and contemporary Broadway songs and choreography together as a group. Classes will focus on the acting performance as well as vocal technique, musicality, popular Broadway dance steps and bringing your unique self to your work. We will study the history of this great art form through restaging popular Broadway group numbers, solos, and duets. Classes will require memorization of music and choreography and students may be asked to prepare material outside of class time. The goal of this class is to nurture a love for the art of musical theater as well as study and apply prevalent techniques used by industry professionals to enhance each student’s unique performance style. *Performance training requires practice. This class is designed to challenge each student where they are and is intended to be repeated to further solidify foundations and practices learned.

Wednesdays 430-530

 

Come explore the practice of acting for the stage. Classes will focus on awareness, truthful playing, use of language and physical action, and script analysis.  The goal of this class is to nurture a love for this great craft and developing a working understanding of common practical concepts such as action, objective, obstacle, conflict, tactic, intention, motivation, and acting beats. Classes will require memorization of short scenes or monologues and will require students to prepare material outside of class time. *The study of the art of acting is considered a practice and classes are designed to be repeated to further solidify foundations and practices learned.

The goal of this class is to nurture a love for this great craft and developing a working understanding of common practical concepts such as action, objective, obstacle, conflict, tactic, intention, motivation, and acting beats. Classes will require memorization of short scenes or monologues and will require students to prepare material outside of class time. *Classes will grow into 3 Stages that are meant to be taken on their own or in succession. The study of the art of acting is considered a practice and classes are designed to be repeated to further solidify foundations and practices learned.

Come explore the exciting world of Acting! Classes will focus on exploring the fundamentals of theater through engaged play and age appropriate prose. The goal of this class is to build confidence, find our stage voices, nurture a love for the art of acting and to have meaningful interactions with teachers and peers.
